Dyslexia Screening
POA (Price on Application)
Screening to identify an individual’s learning strengths and challenges.
These tools provide a cognitive profile of the individual from which strengths can be identified, challenges supported and appropriate teaching strategies suggested.
It is important to note that this screening process does not constitute a diagnosis, rather it provides ‘indicators’ of dyslexia.
The process includes:
Evidence/information collection using Sharpe Screening tools.
Informal discussion with the individual and whānau (if appropriate) to co-construct learning a positive pathway.
A formal report including screening results and teaching recommendations.
